A Race Night was held in Boomerang to raise funds for new projects planned by the group £368 was raised on a fun filled and entertaining evening. A big thank you to Dundee Lions for their efforts and all those who attended on the evening. |

August - New IT Course added to Learning Centre
Cards and Calendars
On this short course the student will learn how to create their very own card and calendar using MS Publisher. They will learn how to add pictures and photos and to print the outcome. This is an ideal taster session to become more familiar with the creative uses of a computer. You will learn a variety of creative and transferable IT skills, which will range from being able to upload digital photographs on to a computer, re-sizing and manipulating photographs to printing with the ultimate aim of creating a greetings card or calendar. They will also develop skills to create posters/calendars importing pictures and text from one package to another. Students will use their knowledge to produce a calendar or poster for their own personal or business use.

12th November 2010 - 5th Boomerang Cash for Kids Quiz
A big thank you goes out to all the teams who attended Fridays 5th annual Cash for Kids quiz night at Boomerang. The evening kicked off with the quizmaster Gillian Millar welcoming 10 teams from Stobbie and beyond before the tackling of the first round of questions got underway. During a fiercely competitive quiz, which saw the lead change hand several times teams were tested on various topics until eventually a team from Servite Housing Association," Leuchars Aid" won by two points
Thanks to everybody who came along and made it a really enjoyable evening with £350 being raised for Radio Tay's Cash for Kids.
